The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) accepts electronic Catch Disposal Records (eCDRs) as part of the mandatory Fish Receiver System.
Fish receivers can use our simple online system, GoFish, on their computer or mobile device.
Follow the steps below to start submitting eCDRs.
How fish receivers can submit an eCDR
1. Set-up a GoFish account
- Register for a GoFish account by filling in and submitting the online form.
- We will process the application and send you an email with your login ID and a temporary password.
2. Learn how to submit an eCDR
Download the written instructions (PDF, 1.2 MB), or watch the video below to learn how to correctly submit an eCDR.
If you need help, contact the AFMA Licensing team: email licensing@afma.gov.au or call 02 6225 5542.
Information for licence holders and their agents
Submitting eCDRs does not change the process of landing your catch to a licensed fish receiver. Licence holders and their agents must make sure their license and agent arrangements are current.
Once the fish receiver submits an eCDR the Fishing Licence Holder for the landed catch will receive a notification of how much catch was landed, by text message or email.
